Dr. Thorpe is a true professional that has perfected the process of the root canal as it applies to patients like me who use any excuse in the book to avoid them at all costs. There was a dentist in my old state of NJ that had a billboard that said "We cater to cowards". They had a soft touch for the most part. Dr. Thorpe had a better and more procedural smooth process for getting me started for my root canal. He took an incremental approach with numbing gel, a little bit of novocaine, then a bit more, then the big bunch of novocaine. I also appreciated the mouth guard that kept the grinding debris out of my mouth and made the process faster and cleaner. I'm usually the quiet sort and don't talk much to new people. Even though it was my first visit, I felt like I was visiting old friends. I have recommended Dr. Thorpe to a few friends and he's on the top of my list for any big dental needs in the future.
