Since this was my very first root canal, I had no real frame of reference- as it pertains to the procedure. However, I have heard all of the horror stories about root canals from various people. For me, a display of confidence and genuine compassion go a long way to ease my concerns when dealing with medical professionals. The young lady who assisted Dr. Detar was outstanding! Since I am a wimp, she held my hand when needed and I was even given a blanket and pillow! I ended up tapping my foot to the 80's music while Dr. Detar explained the process along the way.The next morning, after popping a pain pill, the discomfort is very minimal. I never thought I'd thank anyone for a root canal but they really exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend this office.
