Dr. Piccinino is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the College of Diplomates in Endodontics.
Dr. Piccinino received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York. He earned a Doctor of Dental surgery degree in 1972 from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. Upon graduation from dental school, he entered the United States Air Force and served as a general dentist officer until 1978. Dr. Piccinino completed his USAF sponsored specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry and received a certificate in Endodontics in 1980.
Dr. Piccinino is well acquainted with the Northern Virginia area having served nine years as Chief of Endodontics and mentor in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Bolling AFB, District of Columbia. Following his retirement from the USAF in 1993, Dr. Piccinino has enjoyed his full time endodontic practice in Manassas.
Dr. Piccinino is Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Piccinino is a member and Past-President of the E.C. Penick Endodontic Study Club, a member of the Southern Endodontic Study Group, and a member of the Manassas Dental Study Club.
